How to read the calendar?
- 🐂🐂🐂 High impact -- FOMC decisions, inflation, and non-farm payrolls. The market moves violently in seconds, and spreads widen. The most disciplined traders do not enter a new trade just before them.
- 🐂🐂 Moderate impact — Retail sales, purchasing indicators. A clear move but it rarely reverses the trend.
- 🐂 Low impact — Secondary data, mentioned for context.
- Expected It is analysts’ estimate, andPrevious It’s the reading from last time. What usually moves the price is the difference between the actual figure and the expected figure, not the figure itself.
Note: this diary shows schedules and expectations, not the actual figure after release — the free data source is not provided.
Before any news: know your trade size.
Calculate the appropriate lot for your capital and your stop loss in a second.
